Sheriff's
Sales take place on the 3rd Friday of every month except
December in the
lobby of the Curry Building, located at 214 W. 7th Street,
Bloomington, IN 47401 and in the Monroe County Justice
Building during April and October. Sales start at 10:00 AM.

You can find
information on auctioned property through SRI, the company
which assists the Sheriff's Office with Sheriff's Sales.
Visit http://www.sri-taxsale.com/Foreclosure/Default.aspx to
find which properties are for sale. Listings are updated
regularly. Please remember the Sheriff's Office does not
have access inside the houses and does not make appointments
to show houses.
If you win your bid, 100% of your bid
must be made in certified funds made payable to the Monroe
County Clerk within two hours after the completion of the
sale. You will then be issued a sheriff's deed - which is
different from a warranty deed. The buyer purches the home
as-is. There are no refunds in the event you do not like the
house.
